The following 4-hour workshops have been designed to offer attendees in-depth, hands on training. Attendees will leave with action plans to implement programs and projects in their facilities. The topics have been arranged so that attendees can choose to attend sessions in both the morning and afternoon. The morning session begins at 8 am and ends at 12 noon. The afternoon session begins at 1:30 pm and ends at 5:30 pm. Lunch is on your own.

A management system provides the framework for organizing your facility's operations that relate to environmental, safety and sustainability initiatives. This workshop provides you with a hands-on, step-by-step approach for identification of elements and a road map to forming a cohesive management system. Insights into how to identify, develop and achieve established targets and objectives set as part of your company's ccontinual improvement activities will be offered.
The New Changes to an Old Standard - An OSHA Recordkeeping Update

OSHA has increased inspections of printers dramatically in the last few years due to specific National Emphasis Programs (NEP). The latest OSHA NEP is on recordkeeping. One of the first things an inspector will ask for is your records. Are you prepared? Printers need to review their OSHA recordkeeping logs, forms, and practices and see to it that these records are accurate and in order.
This program will explain the focus of the recordkeeping NEP, explain the recordkeeping requirements, how to use the correct OSHA logs and forms, demonstrate how to calculate injury and illness rates and how to evaluate your safety programs for effectiveness.

This workshop focuses on the development of a formal written plan that can be used for determining compliance with environmental, safety and health requirements. This includes incorporation of how to recognize and implement compliance changes; and daily, monthly and annual milestones that need to be met to ensure compliance on a continual basis. Procedural and necessary documentation requirements will also be covered. This workshop is recommended for everyone, not just those facilities seeking certification under the Sustainable Green Printing Partnership Program.
