A New Way to Approach Art

November 9th, 2014

When I was younger I thought I was going to be a marine biologist. A year later after that, I was firmly set on becoming a ‘earth biologist’, as I put it to my parents. Not long after making that decision I had decided instead that I would become a graphic artist with the goal of having my work shown in NYC Times Square, whether it was a piece of art or an advertisement. There’s nothing wrong with lofty goals but I think I’m content with helping pass around this Fathead promo code I got from my boss at Fathead!

I haven’t been working for them long but some of my designs have been showcased on the site. Technically, I’m sort of an independent contractor for them but I’ve worked on a couple of their bigger marketing projects as well as doing some indie work for them to help fill out their selection of different designs. Working on the Professor’s Project

February 15th, 2014

Of course I did not really ever intend to be a History professor’s TA, but I have a degree in history technically. I just took a lot of history classes because they are easy for me and so I ended up getting the requirements for the degree before I finished up with the computer science. Right now I am working on some local history projects and using this program called scan speeder to see how it works on these photos I need to scan into the data base. That is going to consume a lot of my time and of course I am in a bit of trouble over these two girls who have been flirting with me. Working on the Professor’s Project continued »

Quality Nashville Wedding Photographer Needed

August 28th, 2012

I am going to be married to the love of my life in a few months, and I need to find a wedding photographer to take photographs at the wedding and the reception afterwards. I am hoping that I will be able to secure a wedding photographer for the wedding in a short time, as I have other duties to attend to with regards to the planning of the wedding. I am looking for quality and professional wedding photography in nashville, or in the nearby area. I am hoping that I will be able to find a wedding photographer of exceptional skill at a reasonable price, as the whole wedding has to be done on a fairly tight budget.

My wife’s parents are helping to pay for the wedding, but still, with the amount of extravagance that my wife expects for our wedding, it will be a miracle if we are able to come out under the budget that we have. Therefore, I will need to be able to secure the best photographer for the money. I guess I will need to find the portfolios of several local wedding photographers and compare them to see if I can find one that is able to meet a happy medium between being aptly skilled in the profession, and asking a reasonable price for his or her services. I will be happy once I have a wedding photographer picked, as there is a great deal more I must attend to with regards to this wedding. None the less, I must also be prudent in choosing a photographer, as my wife expects high quality photographs of the wedding that capture some of the more special and sentimental moments of the ceremony, and I mean to make sure that she gets what she wants.

The Elusive Hand Drawn Perfect Circle

November 9th, 2014

I have always wished that I could be an artist. It is infinitely frustrating to have an imagine in your mind that you’re not able to express onto a medium. Despite my inability to even draw the most simple of things like a circle that doesn’t come out oblong, I find myself doodling – there’s no goal in mind with my doodling as I typically create geometric patterns which fill up the page I’m working on. Nothing to hang up in the Louver or be mistaken for William Blake! Which reminds me, this Allposters coupon is perfect for that sort of thing – awesome new prints for the home.

One of my favorite artists has been William Blake for a long time. Not traditionally known for his works of art but instead of his poetry and other writings, he has been a profoud inspiration for me over the years. The Elusive Hand Drawn Perfect Circle continued »

A Party for the Kids

January 19th, 2014

Marketing StrategyI work at a small school that teaches kids about technology. Last year we had a lot of students enroll in our class about robotics, and they’ve all done so well in it. Before the end of the year, I wanted to throw them a party to congratulate them on their progress. I had it all planned out. I was going to bake a big cake with a picture of a robot on it, and I would have balloons, party favors, and even roll up banners. The local printing store was closed temporarily, so I had to order a banner online.

I made a design for the banner featuring robots and sent them to a printing company that I found through a web search. The company was able to print the banner and send it back to me in a day. That was pretty quick. I went to a local party supply store and bought various party items. I then went to the store to buy some ingredients for my cake.

You Need to Update Your Software

December 19th, 2013

Adobe Photoshop CS5 Tutorials – Learn More about Latest Designing ...I did not realize that I needed to get an adobe photoshop free download because I was not able to look at the photos that I downloaded from my computer. There are a lot of different types of software companies that try to get you to download software and while I do like to spend the time looking at them, they are not really helpful. I do forget to download the latest software update and if my computer tells me that I have to download them then I do not want to take the time to click on it to download. It does take a lot of time and I usually have a lot to do to make sure that I have the download ready. If I am in the middle of something then it might shut down on its own and take the time to download everything on its own.

I think that it is really annoying when you are working on something and your computer actual takes the time to shut it down on its own, then you may be able to lose all of the information that you are working on and it then becomes a waste of time. I knew that it was not going to be good when I took the time to down load everything on my own and then my computer took the time to tell me that I had a virus on it. It was a virus that I got from one of the web sites where I went to physically down load the update, I could not believe it as I spent a lot of time looking at the different warnings from my fire wall. It was not too funny and there were a lot of things that were not well.

Wedding Pictures to Last a Lifetime

November 6th, 2013

When my boyfriend asked me to marry him, it took me all of three seconds to say yes. It only took that long because I was speechless for the first two seconds! We didn’t want to have a long engagement, so I started planning our wedding the very next day. Everything came together really nicely, and soon all I had to do was find a photographer to take pictures for us. Some of my friends volunteered to snap some pictures, but I wanted a professional. I did an online search for wedding photographer london, and I started looking at different websites that I came across.

I really liked some of the photos that I saw on one photographer’s site.

Excited for the Upcoming Meeting

September 18th, 2013

Canon-EOS-550D-DSLR-Camera-front-angleI belongs to a group that has a lot of members in it. The group is comprised of people that really like to take pictures and although many of us could probably make a full time job out of photography it is simply our passion and what we do as a hobby to keep ourselves busy and our minds going with our creative side. We go to www.buyadslrcamera.org where people can talk to each other about different cameras and get different feedback about the pictures that they post. I thought that it may be a bad idea to post any of my pictures because I did not know if I could handle the criticism that people may have thrown at me about my work and I really was just starting as a photographer.

Entering the Local Picture Competition

August 21st, 2013

I am a high school student who likes to take a lot of random pictures on my camera. I am starting to really get into taking pictures of subjects. I like to take pictures of nature and my friends. Perhaps I will be a fashion photographer sometime or maybe even one that takes pictures of babies and other things like weddings, I think that would be a lot of fun as I like to work with people. I finally bought a canon eos rebel camera bag to hold the eos that I got on consignment from a great local camera shop. While I did not have a lot of money to spend, they had a great used camera that they went through and made sure was in good working order. I was so excited when they told me that they would show me how to use it and they even threw about four lenses into the deal because I am a young and budding photographer, or so they said.

I was going to take them up on that offer and the owner of the store, who is friends with my aunt, even took me on a tour of the local marina and helped me figure out the best angles to get pictures of the boats and people in the water. In exchange for people being so great and letting me take their picture, I took their email and told them that I would be emailing them all the shots that I took of them. My biggest thing was to learn how to use the camera and all the lenses correctly because I thought it would be a big waste of time and money if I did not know how to properly use the camera. Two months later I am better but still learning, and I entered my pictures into a local competition.

I Found the Perfect Wedding Photographer

July 24th, 2013

When I got married 30 years ago, my parents helped me with planning the entire day. When my daughter told me several months ago that she was getting married, I got excited because I wanted to help her plan her special day too. She told me that the two of them were planning a very small affair, and most details had been taken care of already. It is her day, so I kept my heartbreak to myself. She must have known though, because she sent me an email with wedding photographer essex in the subject line.

Advances in Technology Transforms Photography

January 24th, 2013

Due to the many advances in technology, the world of photography is constantly changing. Manufactures all over the world are creating a wide variety of different kinds of hardware and software tools and they are changing the face of professional photography today. The impact is far reaching as well as astounding because the demand and the need is also driving how these processes are working. The family picture, weddings, celebrations are no longer the same, since everyone can take a quality picture with a processes canon mark 3.

While the technology is opening up many doors for the novice and aspiring photographer, the newer technologies do not exclude the professional photographer.

Putting Together a Simple Wedding Ceremony

December 17th, 2012

... wanted a forest themed wedding we brought all the green flowers andMy fiance and I are not going cheap on the wedding to save money, but that is a part of the scheme. We just do not feel as though we need anything ostentatious. In truth we are both rather far away from our families and there are practical reasons why it is best not to drag them all out to New Mexico to watch us walk down an aisle. We shall put on some nice clothes and get some cheap wedding flowers, but the ceremony is probably going to be at a courthouse. In fact we have decided that we shall probably have a church wedding at some future date, something which will be for the benefit of our families. Emily says that her Mother will insist upon that, but it shall have to wait until after both of us are out of art school. For me that shall be in about three months, but Emily is behind me and she shall probably not get her law degree until the winter of 2013.

So the real big wedding with all of the people invited is going to probably wait for over a year. That seems a bit more than odd, but it is a practical necessity for us. We can live without it though and if our parents would not be disappointed we would probably go without the church wedding completely. We are going to get a couple of our friends together for a small wedding reception and then we shall probably study for our final exams, which are the real priority right at this moment. None of this works out unless we both stay on track to achieve our immediate goals and that involves getting out of school and then passing the bar exam. After that we need to get out of debt.

The Tattoo Book for Design Inspiration

December 12th, 2012

I work as a graphic artist and love what I do. I never seem to run out of new ideas for designs for websites, logos and even tattoos. I had gained more inspiration for some of my logo designs from the the tattoo shop. I was going through their design book when I was considering getting a tattoo and I really learned a lot about the use of different colors that I would never have thought to use in the past.

There is a story behind me even considering getting a tattoo. I was out with a bunch of my buddies from work and we were placing silly bets on all sorts of things. I was the one that seemed to lose most of the bets right from the beginning and should have backed out when I noticed that I was losing. We continued our night out and I continued to lose bet after bet.

Seeking to Have High Quality Stage Sets Built

October 19th, 2012

The stage is set for the spectacular Fire Festival in Nozawa OnsenI really need to have some high quality stage sets built in the near future, and as such, I am currently looking on the internet to see if I can find anyone who is experienced in the construction and design of stages used in plays that is located in the local area. I am really hoping that I will be able to find someone to hire in the near future, because the sooner these stage sets have been built, the sooner I can turn my attention to other matters of importance in the production of this play.

I have never worked on a play before in my life, but one of my friends talked me into helping him out with this play, and I agreed. It is a play that we were both very fond of back in our years in college. I am hoping that I can enlist a couple of people who have more experience with the production of plays to help me make sure that everything runs smoothly.

Choosing the Best Wedding Photographer

October 4th, 2012

Matt and Brenda Foden”In selecting the best vendors, especially photographers, for your wedding, it can be a difficult decision given how many choices there tend to be offering a variety of services at many different price points. As you attempt to make these decisions as your wedding planning progresses, it is a good idea to try to make a few unique choices along the way that will lend your wedding to be special and different than every other wedding you have attended. One way to do is by going a different direction with your wedding photos such as ones offered by Foden Photography where you can capture your day but in a more artistic manner.

Many times you will look at the wedding albums of friends and family and know exactly what you will see.
